| Chrome |
|
Chrome is a hardy finish which can easily withstand the rigours of everyday use, however the following care tips will extend the life of the finish and keep your Jaeco product looking great for years on end.
- Pat fixture dry with soft cloth after each use to avoid water stains.
- Occasionally use a mild liquid soap agent to gently clean fixture.
- To remove hard water deposits apply a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar.
- Avoid cleaning products that contain amonia, bleach or alcohol.
- A good polish with a soft cloth will rejuvinate the chrome finish.
- More frequent cleaning is required in areas were pollutants are prevelent such as beach properties or areas with high geothermal activity.

Satin Chrome is designed to give a 'brushed' look. While this finish can easily withstand everyday use, a little extra care will ensure the longevity of your Satin Chrome Jaeco product.

The brass plating itself is protected by an outer layer of laquer, which prevents the brass from tarnishing. It is important that cleaning and maintenance does not erode this protective layer. Follow the steps below, and you will enjoy a quality brass finish for years on end.

- Carefully remove any loose deposits before cleaning.
- Use a soft brush (non-abrasive), and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposits.
- Rinse with fresh, clean water.
- Should damage occur to the finish 'Dulux Colour Repair Kits' are avalible for touch up's
- Weathered or lightly scratched areas can be rejuvinated using 'Dulux Gloss Up'
